I've taken my kids to him and he knew I had it too. He asked about my doctor who pulses and he was pretty critical of pulsing for adults as well but I think he was just being diplomatic in the interview when he said he doesn't treat adults so can't comment. He didn't go into a lengthy explanation of why it doesn't work, but just that you need to hit the bacteria hard and heavy and not in co-infection blocks. So one of my kids tested positive for babesia, bartonella and lyme...and he's attacking all at the same time, whereas Dr. J in DC seems to work in blocks first lyme, then babesia, etc.
Dr. J is older and sort like the grandfather of lyme and I think he's very traditional in his treatment. Experience is good because I think he's seen a wide array of cases and what works and what doesn't, but Dr. J in DC also has a great reputation and is known to pulse so he must have some success with it.
So did you just decide to see him for a second opinion then?
Dr. J in DC does treat all at the same time. For example, one of the protocols is Mepron, Art, omnicef, mino, tinidazole, and diflucan. Pulsing is not really about
which infection you target at once.
