I was reading a forum thread dealing with the same symptoms I am experiencing: severe head pressure and sensations inside head feeling like brain inflammation/moving sensations inside of scalp whenever I go up in bartonella herbs.

I am trying to do all I can too detox and all but this is what happened last time I attempted to treat to the point where I then had to quit

Anyway this lead me to a forum post where a user stated that bartonella herbs had lead to alike symptoms with him and that could lead to encephalitis/inflammation of brain. I am not sure whether not this could occur but I don't have any other options of treatment with bartonella so was wondering what people thougjt of that or if there were ways to mitigate that possibility occuring.

Well, it's a very careful balance between treatment and elimination of toxins, and controlling the inflammation that has to be found for each of us.

Check into gene mutations that may be making it harder for your body to process out the toxins. Be sure to find and use a anti-inflammatory or use herbs that will help control the amount of inflammation and toxins even in the brain, and going slow enough in raising doses so that the brain inflammation stays at a low enough level.

Bvt regulates th1 th2 ...has helped my head pressure ...
dr frid says ivig is helpful in autoimmune encephalitis caused by tbi...
she is a pioneer neuro in nyc .very cool

Been there, still there sometimes. It sucks.

Stay away from stress. Do a sauna 1x a week, at least. Stay in for 30-45 mins, or whatever your body tells you to do.

Read up on Buhner herbs and Cowden herbs. Buhner has some good one for relieving head pressure.

Kudzu is very good for brain inflammation head pressure and feeling like your head is on fire. My twin takes it and notes significant differences in head pressure and head overheated symptoms.

thank you guys found kuzdu root at a local herbal treatment store for teasand wondering if anyone had a good source for how much to take and if I could have any side effects and interactions takingn alongside buhners herbal protocol/burbur pinella neuro antitox.

I buy the tincture from Woodland Essence.

I take one dropperful twice daily.

I was taking it with JK, Sida Acuta, Cryptolepis and Houttuynia at one point.

I'm no longer taking those.

I was also taking burbur and and pinella - not at the same time...though...

I started with a low dose and titrated up and have had no issues/herxing at all - only symptom relief.

On page 218 in Buhner's Healing Lyme, 2nd edition, he lists Kudzu root (1/4 tsp - 1/2 tsp, 3 times a day) for brain pressure, so it's part of his extended protocol and is designed to be used with his protocol without any interactions to the other core protocol herbs.
