What is or was your dose?

This is powerful stuff. My liver could not handle 500mg twice a day, but I progressed so much in a positive direction in terms of my symptoms. It finally made my daily fevers go away. But I had to stop it after two weeks because I became so ill on it and my blood work did not look good.

I am petrified being off it now for a full two weeks. I am terrified all my symptoms will creep back up again. So I am thinking of trying half a pill twice a day for a week and seeing how I do.

I am just not sure if that will do anything for my infections. Thoughts?

Was supposda get to 500 2x a day ..never got there...was too much with rifampin...went for bvt ..still pulse it at 250 2x a day ...but i do the everything under the sun protocol

500mg twice a day is what I did.

Evanston-Were you also taking Rifampin? My LLND pulled me off Rifampin until my blood work is better but I'm still on Biaxin and Alinia. I take 500 mg twice a day and if I can handle it 500 mg in the morning and 1000mg at night.

I think the standard dose is 500 mg twice daily.


It's apparently not available in Canada - except through a compounding Pharmacy.

500mg twice daily for 5 days. No improvement had to stop due to lung pain getting worse while on it.
It did however get rid of my wifes only symptom after 3 days 500 bid.
