Hey, y'all! Back at it again with another installment of the monthly share and tell thread! The positivity post! Life may be rough, but here's a pile of stuff to make ya say, okay, maybe I should keep fighting, so I can have more of these wonderful things?

It's not all sparkles and sunshine, I know, but I encourage you to think about your lives as they've been over the past month, and share something that you're grateful for.

Let it be: a new pet, a treatment success, or a positive interaction with your loved ones - anything and everything you can think of, so long as it's something that you were happy to have been alive to experience.

I totally understand being down; it's hard not to be, some days. I know all about it. But, even so, you have to try and give yourself this, at least a little bit. What's that my friend, bluelyme, recently made a post about, hope is everything?

Stay positive, stay hopeful. Backs against the wall, and options low, but you have to keep searching for answers, trying this, trying that. Easier said than done, but the point is to stay persistent. You gotta keep crawling out of bed and into the world, gotta keep reaching for the surface.

Keep going, live for the little things, live and laugh as much as possible, and appreciate the opportunity to keep playing the game. We gotta win, sooner or later.

Believe me when I say, my heart goes out to every one of you. You have all my love. Thank you for being here. Even on your worst days, you have strength, you are strength. The world may think otherwise, but I know my company does not consist of weak souls.

My apologies for not coming around at my usual end-of-the-month time, giving everyone a few days to contribute before the new month rolls around. I've been busy, for better and worse.

If you take nothing else from the post: Positive. Smile. Laugh. Not the picture-perfect life, but it is still life. You're here now, so do what you can to make it a good experience. Fight. Hope.

Oh, and share something positive, almost forgot!

Hey Antonio - how are you doing? Do you have something to share with us, too?


Nothing exciting to share, but progress with my Physio.

Saw my Physiotherapist and she was happy with an improvement with my left shoulder rom. I had one area that was a bit tight on my left side (sort of in the arm pit area) and it wasn't allowing my to put my left arm in a certain position. I have been working on it and really made an effort the past two weeks.
...it's almost completely full ROM now...yay!

Not a big deal...but kinda.

The weather in NE PA was quite nice in February so I was able to enjoy sitting on my deck watching the birds and squirrels even if it was through blurred vision. My family is supportive and brings me joy. I'm also starting to accumulate Buhner's herbs which is exciting but, I must admit, somewhat scary.

February.

I had my first meeting with an LLMD, which went awesomely. My only area of concern is what she's going to recommend about my GI function. She wanted to advance my diet to include more carbohydrates, mentioning sweet potatoes as being a great option, even for people concerned about yeast overgrowth, being that they're so low on the glycemic index (depends on how you cook them, I imagine). I tried a few things for a period of about a week, and started to feel "fungal" sensations creeping in, so I reverted back to my ketogenic diet. It's not very healthy, at least not for me. I want to eat more normally, but it's something that needs to be worked out. Other than that, very nice, very knowledgeable, and doesn't seem like it's all about the money.

I'm still in school, keeping up, somehow. Though, if I don't do some homework this weekend, I will be in trouble.

Joined a gym, doing some light exercises, because the doctor and I both agreed that I needed to be moving. I was doing some weightlifting on my own, but there's not enough space in my home, and I feel it's a little too strenuous for me right now. This should be more beneficial. Pilates. Light free weights and body weight exercises. Tiny bit of cardio. Plus, it gives me a reason to go outside of my comfort zone and interact with people.

My sister moved to Colorado - very happy for her.

Qualified for an additional $700 to my tax refund, because I am a student. Woo! Burned a decent chunk of it on clothes.

As for my health, about the same, but I have hope things will get better for me this year. :D

I'm always taking on more than I should, so pray for me, guys. ~<3

That's totally friggin' awesome, Girlie! Every little step counts.

Patty, the weather's been getting to me a tad bit lately. We had a few days a couple weeks ago where the temperature was in the 60s. I put my winter clothes in the closet, the snow brush for my car in the trunk, etc. Then, we get a freak blizzard, like 12 inches of snow! It's all mud out there right now. The blizzard was pretty to look at though, I guess. Herbs are your friends btw.

All I want to say is that you are a gem of a person who brings so much sunshine for those who are suffering! When I have the time I skim through your uplifting posts and smile to myself...

I'll tell you something that may make someone smile: many years ago we had a thread about #2 (yeah, the type when you go to the bathroom and members analyzed it believe it or not) and I sent Traveler an Award! It was a very funny thread! If Traveler wants to share more about it (hint, hint) go right ahead!! scool

Life does get better so please never lose hope!!

Things are going well here. I'm still in remission. Hubby is doing super and just about ready for the big gun andrographis. He is doing Beyond Balance and Buhner's protocol.

I am almost finished with Dr. William Rawls book Unlocking Lyme and I highly suggest it.

I was in a car accident and thankfully the other driver admitted guilt to me at the scene and also to his insurance company. This takes away a lot of stress.

I had dental surgery and it went well. I only had to take a couple of pain pills. I was ready for bruising, swelling and maybe even aggravating lyme.... I dodged all those bullets! Yeah me.

It has been horrifically raining and snowing here in Cali. We have survived the sink holes, floods and mudslides even though they have affected us in other ways.

Always ways to count my blessings and find the good in everything.

I've gotten a few more pieces of the puzzle with my lab work. Saw an LLMD last month. Am getting good at knitting comfy socks. 😊 My boys had their belt tests for karate and they were so cute encouraging eachother. They both looked fierce and strong. ❤️ And my daughter is doing well in ballet. My kids are 10, 8 and 5.
My dad is retiring and I'm helping to throw a surprise party for him.
I'm studying Philippians and it reminds me that Paul was in freaking jail and still he praised God and loved others.

What to share? Things are pretty quiet on this front. Trying to determine what to do next in terms of protocol.

Attended church (in person) for the first time in more than a year. Usually I just watch via ustream since becoming unwell. Felt good to go as a family.

The family and I drove the 2 hours to visit the in-laws last weekend and was treated to dinner. Even though I wasn't feeling that great, I still managed to have a good time. It's always nice being around them because they are so warm-hearted and a true blessing in our lives.

The school year for the boys is just about over. I personally can't wait for the company. Though I'm at least thinking about putting them in a swim class 2x a week, to further develop their skills.

I've been watching a lot of old shows lately. Like, America's Next Top Model. I have no idea what's up with that.

Seeing a new NP/acupuncturist. First meeting went well. She told me that my panic attacks are largely due to the low dose hydrocortisone that I'm on. Go figure!

Well that's about it.

NQA - You are awesome for posting these smile -- I always love seeing the positive things from people smile

I had a great month!

- Caught the flu, which sounds bad but was actually awesome. I know people here get that celebration smile
- Had our friends from Sweden stay with us for a night. They are in a band and played a show locally. We hosted 8 guys at our house and had a blast... stayed up all night for 2 nights catching up! I was tired (obviously) but had no other effects from the crazy hours.
