I just got my shipment and have been taking it for two days (thanks for the recommendation!).
I noticed, though, that after I take it, I get a little shaky. Not sure if it's related or not. I've only taken 1 scoop (half the recommended dose, like the instructions say).
What is in it that could possibly cause the shakiness? It doesn't last long but just something I've noticed.

PMM I take this too at the recommendation of PeteZa. I've never experienced shakiness. Perhaps you are having a reaction to one of the amino acids.
When do you take it? And what are you putting it in (e.g. tea, coffee)?

Funny you ask, Krimpet. I have been adding it to my coffee. I also just remembered that I've started to drink the coffee at work rather than buying it myself. Maybe I'm reacting to the coffee itself! Not sure what brand it is but it tastes a lot stronger than Dunkin Donuts.

I think it might be the coffee. I have never gotten shaky from the collagen.
Skip the coffee and take the collagen in oatmeal or something else you eat and see if any shakiness happens.
Gosh you can mix that stuff in anything and it just disappears, but you still get it.
pmm, I sure hope you can take it. It really has helped me in my joints, eyes, skin, nails and hair. And because of all of those I bet it is helping inside of me too.
Please let me know.

I just put it in Dunkin Donuts coffee lol I'm pretty sure it's the coffee at work (whether the coffee itself or the water or whatever). I'm not giving up on this just yet!

By the way -- Reading Dr. Rawls book and he says that:
"Out of all supplements you can take for supporting collagen and joint function, glucosamine has the most scientific evidence to back it up." page 212
That's scientific evidence. So it just means many other things have not been tested???? Or they don't have any evidence to back them up????
I'm still taking the collagen and will the rest of my life.

Mystery may be solved😊. Just try it in a smoothie or whatever non-caffeine drink you like. Also remember that even decaf even has some caffeine.
