Hi;). Looking for info about an Integrative LLMD in NH if anyone has info. I am currently being treated by a strictly allopathic Dr. but am interested in going the integrative route.

If you don't get personal recommendations from forum members, you can email me and I will check my list of LLMD"s and send you names I have for NH.

Thanks Girlie;). I do have names - I was wondering if anyone had an experience with a particular Dr. I am a chronic case - was in remission for a long time but am now being treated for a relapse. I like my Dr but he is ABX only & I'm trying to find a Dr who is more integrative.

Anyone can feel free to email me with info if they have experience with integrative Drs. in NH, Berkshires in MA or CT.

I will read through "New to Lyme" even though I am unfortunately not new;(

Keep asking questions and using the search function on this site to help you learn more and look into other possible options if you wish. When using the search function, more of your results will be from the Lyme forum if you enter the word Lyme before any other search terms.

There is a Dr M, I believe in the Plymouth NH area. A friend, that failed with Dr H, has had good success with her... She does homeopathic and supplements..... and abx. MY friend relapses if she doesn't take Plaquenil......... and has been on that for years............ I can find out more if you are interested..
and relapses are horrendous....so sorry!

Thanks, AK. Plymouth is a little further north than I wanted to travel but if I don't find someone closer it may work. Is it ok to email you if I need more info?

It looks like you've also relapsed? I was bitten in '93, was treated on & off for 6 years & went into remission for 12. Raised 2 kids (and a very active Jack Russell Terrier), lived a relatively normal, healthy life but started becoming symptomatic again when I tried to work full time.

I managed it for 5 years but then everything came back with a vengeance a year ago. I'm still in a state of shock that this can happen. I've hesitated getting involved with forums because I don't want others to know my story & get discouraged.

I am being treated so I'm not in a desperate situation. It's just that, as we all with chronic infections know, it takes more than ABX to get & stay well & my dr. doesn't do the supportive therapies. I can see a ND in addition to my dr. but I'm trying to avoid paying for two Drs. The one I see costs a small fortune;(

I learned of an integrative LLMD in Peterborough but not much info about him so thought I would check here. I really appreciate your response, though;)

My local LLMD's are in Amherst, NH. Dr G is a well-known NH Lyme specialist, naturopath, and ILADS member. Dr C is also a naturopath, who also integrates eastern medicines and physical treatments. They're both in favor of integrating herbal treatments into their approaches.
