Week 1: days 1-8 of 4 week cycle xylitol and lactoferrin

MWF:
Ceftin 1000mg 2/day
Rifabutin 150mg 2/day

M-F:
Daraprim 25mg combined with Leucovorin 10mg 1/day
Dapsone 50mg 1/day
Enula 10 drops 2/day

Th/Fr:
Diflucan 200mg 2/day
Flagyl 500mg 2/day

Week 2:

MWF:
Ceftin 1000mg 2/day
Minocin 100mg 2/day
Malarone 1000/400mg 2/day
Artemisinin 800mg 2/day
Enula 10 drops 2/day

Week 3:

M T W
Coartem 4 tabs of 20/120 2/day

Week 4:


Off

I'm finally adding diamox for my awful head pressure that doesn't seem to go away. Malarone helps a bit but it's time to add diamox. I'm taking this with vitamin c and klor con.

I'm also adding lexapro.


Any comments?!? Curious about lexapro, diamox, dapsone and daraprim!!!

After one year - are you feeling any better?

lexapro, diamox, dapsone and daraprim


Do you know what they're for? I think the lexapro is an antidepressant.

The diamox - is that being used to remove excess fluid?

Quite the protocol. I see him too but have never seen anything like this. Very aggressive treatment tailored to Babs. Hope it goes well!
Do you mean to write Ceftin, or is it Omnicef? (similar but different drugs. Same class, different generations.)

Girlie: lexapro is anti depressant with anti anxiety properties. Diamox is for my head pressure. The other two are very strong ABX.

Fronton: very aggressive. No it's ceftin. I was on omnicef but I was switched to ceftin. I was supppsed to be on this protocol 3 months ago but had to get my gallbladder out in Jan due to it failing and causing intense pain and nausea.
Week 1 is going to be insane. Hopefully I survive.

So only taking dapsone 1 week a month? That's interesting. I am taking mino/plaquenil/nystatin/herbs and starting rifampin probably next week. Then adding Dapsone at some point. I'm not in a rush to get it started because I want to see how rifampin effects me first. I am not pulsing it however, I would love to if it works.

i'm on a similar protocol of your week 2 except i do week 1 MWF (along with flagyl/diflucan Th,Fr) and week 2 M-F same stuff but no Flagyl/Diflucan. I have different abx (Amoxicillin, Bactrim week 1 switch Bactrim out for Cipro week 2). No Coartem, Daraprim or Dapsone. I'm also on Mepron not Malarone.

in terms of surviving week 1 you don't know when you'll get hit with the fallout. my worst stretch was when i finished week 2 and the following 4-5 days when i was on nothing. go figure.

you didn't answer how are you feeling from starting with Dr. J to today?
