Dr won't treat

After waiting 5 weeks the new dr I saw today said she can't treat me. It's an infectious disease place in Tampa and her theory is that even though I have older Pcr testing done (3) of them in early 2000's that
Was done by a speciality lab in Colorado that because a standard Dr I saw waiting for this dr appt did a general pcr from Quest and it is recent and negative she said they cannot treat me. I mentioned what if I got labs from the Lyme testing facilities, she said they only take Quest/ labcorp. Sad. Her theory was that the abx I have been doing for Lyme work as anti inflammatory for my fibro or chronic fatigue. I said it seems quite a coincidence every time I do these that my ( confronted) gets better. This was a clinic in Tampa which supposedly treats Lyme. I knew I was in trouble when she said they don't believe in more than one round of abx. Geez. 5 weeks down the drain.

Sorry to hear you had to go through that. They just don't get it. They should be able to accept other tests from accredited labs, don't understand that... But don't give up hope.

Is there any possibility you can find an reputable llmd in your area that may be able to help?

I hear florida has no good llmds...i ran into the id duc that refused to treat me at the store ...he said my test was a false positive .my gf had to hold me back ...
you may have to travel or self treat with abx online ..consider bvt and herbs and rife ...

If there any true Lyme drs please let me know on Florida

funny (today not yesterday) was her statements of I can't tell you why your symptoms go up and down after the abx except that they are inflammatory and they reduce this. Never, Never, go in with a Quest test for lyme also, as once negative is shown all other tests are useless.

Had flair up now for 2.5 months. Help
