A long time ago I decided to do an experiment because of foot detox baths I take.

I spread some paper on the kitchen floor and sprinkled some Epsom Salts on it. Then I walked on the salts just to see if those 2000 or more pores on the soles of my feet really did absorb the salt.

Within seconds my mouth tasted like salt, ewww!!

I just wanted to see if those foot detox baths really did work! If you have any doubts about foot detox baths just take a little walk on either salts, dried mustard powder, whatever you put in those baths.

My wild side is eating garlic and then exercising. Oh my gosh, my sweat smells like garlic!

Next up does it also work with your hands.....off to find the epsom salts, lol!!

While I would love to try that experiement - just to see how I responded - my feet are killing me already!! I don't want to add the sensation of walking on salt to the sensation of walking on broken glass too! smhair

Traveler: Thanks for that. I've been wondering why my right foot feels like it has a piece of glass in it or a cut...but there is nothing there.

Silly Sheep, I don't know about the hands (of course they have pores too) so let me know if you experiment with them. smile

Traveler and OldSalty, I had no idea about your feet. Is it because of Bart? Duh!!

Well, if I ever try to walk on dry mustard powder I will make sure I have something in my mouth that goes with the mustard taste, lol!
