So been treating since Jan.5th of this year last two weeks is the best ive felt in 2 years I would say like 80% of old self but today woke up with sore back,neck,chills,and that old brain fog feeling.Question is can a herx come out of no where 3 months in oh and I have started jk tincture last week and felt great until today.

It can take a week for you to herx. How much jk are you taking?

Also we have a full moon coming in 2 days and some of us are really affected by that.

What PeteZa said and since you've been feeling so much better is it possible you over did and are now paying the price for that? Do something you haven't done since you've been sick that wasn't strenuous but was maybe too much mental stimulation?

yes I had contract negotiations with corporate all week.never thought of that can stress cause a herx

3 months - easy LOL

I had a 5 month herx.

Contrary to what you read, a herx is not just from the dead stuff, but also how toxic abx or killer herbs makes the body.

If you dont detox/methalate well (per 23andMe), a long herx might be standard issue. My detox system is toast because of certain liver genes, now I know why it was 5 months long.

D-limonene might possibly be one of the best liver detox support supps there is and seldom mentioned. It work when others do not. I made posts the last year, google it and you will see people liked it a lot.

Herxing is weird. I can "herx" walking down the detergent aisle in a grocery store. I am so sensitive to chemical smells.

Put me in a hair salon with color and perm treatments for a length of time and I will feel nauseous the rest of the day.

It isn't just from taking abx or herbs. Toxins are all around us. New carpet off gassing, glues, plastics and I could go on and on.

We deal with toxins daily and stress is a toxic emotion.

Usually our immune system takes care of everything if we are healthy. But, give us lyme and our immune system is not working super well and so we herx.

LOL! You got that so right!! I got my lyme on a concrete patio by a swimming pool. I think either the dog or the cat deposited the tick onto the long flowing table cloths that I gathered up in my arms while cleaning after the function.....

I have been Suzy Camper all my life and have slept on the forest floor for years. Hiked Pacific Crest Trail, hand feed deer in the wild and mountain biked all over..... never even a tick bite!

Then this???? How weird.

I bet the coyotes in the desert have eaten a road killed deer that had ticks and they are carrying those ticks too. I don't think any place is immune. Especially since a bird can fly and drop them anywhere.

I know it my dilemma is I love to hunt whitetail here in the Adirondacks its kinda a father son thing with my father who is 69 and to be honest I am so nervous I don't want this again

This. I hate this disease but i just bought a property in the woods that I will be homesteading. Life is too short to be afraid of everything and truth be told there are nasty diseases in mosquitos and fleas and lady parts and man parts and HVAC's and hospitals. Plus i don't like to blame nature for Lyme with the CDC coming forth and saying that climate change is driving tick activity. I bet there'd be less Lyme if people were out hunting white tail than farming cattle and their methane

Oh 3 months in. Kind of unusual. I would suspect you were detoxing better back then, and/ or the "toxic" in you "built up" over 3 months - thats if you were on the same "abx/herbs" ect.

Oh and OP i blame the knotweed. Knotweed can absolutely make you herx and one week is a pretty reasonable time line. How much did you take? I've been herxing off a quarter teaspoon. In fact it kind of came in rounds. Felt fine for about 3 weeks and herxed up a bunch of other symptoms.

Sorry for hijacking this thread but

Psilo are you going to build your home? I ask because a friend in Missouri just built her home and it has Hickory floors and oh my how beautiful they are. I have hickory cabinets but I wish I had of done the floor in hickory. It shows very little dirt or dust because the pattern of the wood is so greatly varied. Partial to hickory because baseball bats were made of it and I love baseball.

That's the plan. I've only built one home before and with a lot of guidance so i don't know how much we'll manage on our own, but that is the idea. The hickory floors look pretty! Hopefully i can get something nice reclaimed... lol

could be the JK or some biofilms got busted up who knows. modern medical community knows little to nothing about these pathogens no matter what they say.

i've been talking to a guy who got sick from some parasite he picked up in Japan or Cambodia 13 years ago. 65 doctors later, Mayo, Stanford, UCSF, CPMC, NYU, John Hopkins, traveled to clinics in Germany, Ecuador, Mexico, China, New Zealand and half of them can't find what's wrong with him let alone shake this parasite from his body.

there's just so much we don't know its downright scary.

I am up to 1 teaspoon a day now started at half a teaspoon for 3 days and felt good so I went with what the bottle said which is half a teaspoon 2-3 times daily

bigcat this is a marathon not a sprint so take it low and slow and listen to your body. if you push too hard it will react violently.

I agree with Rikky1 bigcat.... you went up like a hurricane. Going up slowly is the best for your health.
