Bart-bladder?

Since bart raised its ugly head my bladder does not seem to be able to hold as much fluid before I need to go to the bathroom.

Is there a correlation? And is there any herb that would help support my bladder? I've never had to get up in the middle of the night 2 & 3 times, except for pregnancy.

Get some D-mannose. I used to have pretty severe bladder symptoms and it always helped tremendously. Treating Bartonella will help also.

I was dx with intercistal cystitis, a byproduct of bart. ..

With a change to gluten free, it seems my symptoms have greatly dimished.

I had a presc which I never took, as my incontenancy problems cleared, as well as the feeling of a bladder infection.

It also may be my ongoing herbal protocol giving me relief also.

Bart often causes interstitial cystitis. I've taken Bladder Ease by Vitanica. I never experienced incontinence only the feeling that I almost always had to go which was extremely annoying.

Same issue here. I use a probiotic that has d-mannose when my symptoms flare.

Same issues here! I just call it Barty bladder. It's really frustrating, but mine is coming under control now with Bart treatment.

This is interesting - I am on a Babesia protocol - few weeks in and I've got the return of the "urgency" that I had (and resolved with Lyme treatment)

I am now back to running to the bathroom.

Oh no, Girlie!!! It's miserable for it to return!!! I do hope that it's short lived for you!! Seems you keep having both Bart and Babs symptoms!

I know - I'm wondering if

a) - My new protocol is hitting bartonella along with Babs (Mepron/mino/artemisinin/Zithro)
my LLND did say that Artesunate hits persisters...

b) - Babesia can also cause urinary frequency?

Mold with Bart and I have the same issue. Actually had an epidiymal cyst diagnosed which gets infected and acts up from time to time and has been inflamed for the last 7 days.

Cant retain water. Frequent urination. Repeat.

My urine did stop smelling like ammonia just days ago, so I am hopeful of some progress.

I wish I would have read your post a year and a half ago. I could go to the bathroom every 30 minutes all night long. My LLMD acted as if he never heard of such a thing.

It has finally subsided for the most part although once in a while it acts up. I guess I should have asked this group about it.

I am changing LLMD. He claims he has done this for 30 years yet doesn't seem to know the simplest things.

I don't think he believed me when I told him I could go 20 times in one evening and night. I'm so glad people had suggestions for you because it's very frustrating not to mention exhausting.
