Antibiotic doses

I was on Azithromycin 600mg mon wed and Friday, and minocycline 200mg for 4 months. My protocol changed to support babesia and bartonella which is now:

Azithromycin 600 Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Doxycycline 200mg every day
Malerone 250mg everyday

I was concerned the doxycycline dose is too low but this is what my Lyme doc prescribed. When I take the 200 in the morning I feel great couple hours later but by 4am the next day I feel terrible with chills and chest pals. Can the doxy wear off between 9am and 4 am the next day?

Also anyone know what is likely the likely cause of chest palps? They are continuous and little worrying. Is it likely lyme, babesia or chlamydia pneumonia?

I've been on this protocol for around 6 weeks now. I did a previous post saying I was prescribed azitromycin minocycline malerone and rifampicin and people on forum said rifampicin not normally added with the others. I spoke to lyme doc who said it was ok but I can add it in later when I stop malerone if I prefer.


I have been getting the chills since before I started this new protocol. I am paranoid with this low dose doxy the lyme is coming back or something as this last week I have been feeling terrible low body temperature chills always cold etc.
