Hi CoconutLyme,
Down in the South, there aren't many options to be perfectly honest. The South (and I live in Arkansas and it's the same way) has a long way to go in recognizing these diseases.
Your doctor knowing that it's Gu Syndrome is a good thing! I came across the papers that talk about
Gu Syndrome totally by accident quite a few years ago, and was amazed at how accurate the papers were. I was seeing a TCM doc back then, and printed them out and took them to her - and found out that she had actually studied under that TCM doctor.
And, I did heal very well under my TCM doc with my first set of infections. She had to move out of state to care for her aging parents, otherwise I'd still be seeing her.
Here are the articles on Gu Syndrome, for anyone that wishes to read them:
www.classicalpearls.org/resources/an-ancient-solution-for-modern-diseases-gu-syndrome-and-chronic-inflammatory-diseases-with-autoimmune-complications/ /classicalchinesemedicine.org/gpa/gu-syndrome-in-depth-interview-with-heiner-fruehauf/I do have a few listings for Georgia that I would be happy to share with you, but I don't have any experience with any of them, so I can't tell you how good they are. If you would still like the names, please just send me an email.
