how much does candida play a factor in this

I am retesting today for my candida levels. Last time they were high at 1.3 igg and 1.9 iga igm was 0.5 normal
I know this is reaching but this flair up started in january with some numbness in hands and feet. I did abx for 2.5 weeks and got worse right away with burning and really bad twitching and weakness. I then started 4 weeks of rocephin and no changes but symptoms described not changed. I notice on occasion the coating on tounge and it goes away with some diflucan. My doctor in Orlando gave me this to take 2 days a week. I noticed my previous lyme guy would tell me stop all abx sometimes and take the diflucan 2x's a day for a week. Noticed this morning that I have a film on tounge and am probably the weakest I have been in weeks. ( I know some people do not put much into candida testing)

Tcoach, have you read Pirouette's wonderful Candida post at the bottom of page 2 of the "new to Lyme?" thread yet? It's amazingly detailed and may help you figure out some of what's going on and how to get out of it.

Candida can derail a person's treatment for Lyme and company, producing it's own serious systemic infection.

Tcoach, I'm sick ad a dog and have been treating for almost 2 years.

I was recently tested and had 2 high Candida levels.

After reading Pirouette's extensive research and information, I am positive that's what has hindered my healing.

Wish I had been tested a long time ago.

Oh well ...it's the way it is to be
