Medication reactions

I can't really answer this, as I've had these infections for most of my life, and my reactions always change around with the exception of a few drugs that I've always been allergic to - but this will bump up your post.

Your body will develop reactions after exposure. Allergic reactions for example, don't occur on the first exposure. The body is reacting to a foreign substance. Lyme & co introduces different immune system reactions as a defense. Then the immune system gets confused. I no longer can tolerate doxy though it has never bothered me in the past.

That type of reaction could be due to a number of things. It could be that you would have had a headache anyway - Lyme patients get a lot of headaches, and lethargy could have been attributed to viral infections - unless they go away as soon as the meds wear off - then they can be attributed to the meds.

And yes, things do change. We may need to change meds, or may just no longer need those types of meds. I would suggest that you talk to your LLMD about this, and see what they suggest. It may be a change in meds, or like for me, I had to switch to herbs because I needed the help, but couldn't tolerate the pharma meds or they simply didn't work.
