Anything natural that can be mixed with doxy?

Basically I'm currently on doxy and I can't tolerate flagyl which I was also prescribed and I'm a little nervous to try rifmapin as I heard it can raise your heart rate a lot which is a side effect I don't tolerate well with medications.

With that said, until my next appointment I may just be on doxy. Is there anything else I can add to it to enhance it's effects on lyme?

Read Buhner, Horowitz and Rawls. Japanese knotweed, Dan Shen, Ashwanga. Most herbals will not interfere with doxy. It also depends on what other pathogens you are hosting as to the mix that you want to use. Some will fight the critters other than BB better and give you dual results. The mix of abx that your provider can prescribe can vary by the state MB where you live.

Xelaetaks - I hadn't heard that Rifampin raises the heart rate. I looked it up, and it does say on this site it can cause fast heartbeat.

But, then I looked up doxy and it also has fast heartbeat as a side effect:

The side effect lists on most of these antibiotics are extensive.

Are you just wanting to focus on lyme treatment? There are options to pair with doxy.

I've seen Ceftin with Doxy.
Also, biaxin and doxy.

If you're looking for something to for cyst busting to replace Flagyl - have you thought about tinidazole?

Thanks. I will look up Buhners protocol.

Also rifmapin was given as my llmd had a suspicion of bartonella with me. So I guess I'm trying to attack that as well. I haven't tested positive for bart either but I understand testing it can be very hit or miss.

Maybe the heartrate effect with rifmapin is only with certain people though? I heard it from someone on reddit about lyme disease.

Tinidazole wasn't covered by my insurance unfortunately but a few months I ago I found it hard on my kidneys for some reason and couldn't handle it.

When I was on doxy the last several months of 2016, I ALSO took chinese herbal abx. My Dr buys them from a local compounding 'Pharmacy'
I would have to get a list of the multiple herbs in the capsules. I take SIX each of two different types!

That would be pretty cool if it was possible to share which herbs. I'm open to anything that can work pretty much.
