Don't Know What to Do - Huge Increase in Symptoms

I am in a near state of panic as, after having my best day in six weeks two days ago, today there are more problems than I can ever remember having at once.

Stomach stared hurting badly last night and through today, face and ear burning, back hurting (hasn't hurt before), fatigue, numbness and tingling. Fell like I have a fever but don't. All of it has hit at once, which has never happened before. It's sending me into a panic, and there is no one else here.

I ate some cheese on a gluten free pizza two days ago. Also went up a little on herb plan. But it seems like that can't cause all this. Pain in stomach so bad I can't eat.

Do not have an LLMD right now and don't even know where to find another. I trust people on this forum more than any doctor.

Would a herx be this bad? It has never been like this before. It's like I'm not even in treatment. And after such a great day or two. I'm lost, and for the first time, totally feel like giving up on this.

My thoughts are very clear, as in no brain fog or confusion. This is beyond anything I have experienced through all the years with this crap. For the first time sine being diagnosed, I feel scared because, it seems, I'm going way backwards, suddenly. And I usually handle things well.

Sorry so negative. Can a herx do this or something else?

I have had a good day and then the next be really bad. So I believe a herx can cause that to happen.

I have had extreme heat/flushing feeling in the face before.

Did you add any new herbals or just increase them? and how much of an increase?

Dont give up, I know its hard especially when you are having such a rough time.

Maybe you should back off the herbals a bit just until everything calms down.

cokie - I forgot to mention I did an epsom salt foot soak today, but only for 5 minutes. Seems I don't do well with epsom soaks as it has caused some problems before. And I do neuro feedback for anxiety and had a session today. But my stomach has been going little by little. It is just the first time overwhelming symptoms have hit all at once.

goshawk - I went from 2 of each of the four different formulas in the Vital Plan to 3 for the first time yesterday or Saturday (I should have put it in journal). It just I'm not sure if this could be a herx from that, but it doesn't make sense all these symptoms would flood back at once unless it is related to the medicine.

I am a guy who has always handled things for my family, team, community, etc... So it feels wimpy complaining because there are so many on this site that have so much going on. Just didn't know where else to turn and the LLMD is was seeing really didn't help more than anyone here.

Bicillin lead to my most improvement before a crash 6 weeks ago, but that was my idea because I struggled with a PIC line. The Bcillin did wonders before, but there seems to be more at play now. With Bicillin and enzynes, herxes just never happened. I always thought herbs would be less susceptible than antibiotics to herx.

Just hard to grasp this and the whole herx deal. This one is the most severe reaction I have ever had, other than the PIC line, which was intolerable.

I understand how hard it is to be a strong person and then have this disease bring you right down to your knees both emotionally and physically.

Lyme changes so much for all of us.

We are dealing with something that we cant always control or take charge of. The best we can do, is arm ourselves with the knowledge from others and seek out support when we need to.

It's OK to be on the other end of receiving help. I have found at least for me that responding to others is not a burden, or a pain in the butt so dont worry about reaching out or asking questions.
It actually helps me too. We are all in this war against Lyme and co together.

I'm not familiar with the vital plan but I do know that for me if I even increased certain herbals by 1 to 2 drops for a few days I had a reaction/ increase in symptoms.

You are welcome and I know I have seen some posts about having dental work done while having Lyme. Be sure to be careful of any other infection to do with the tooth. Especially since its been worse.
