Andrographis - drowsiness?

Hi all,

I'm trying out some new herbs (i have been on antibiotics for a couple of months so far). I just tried Andrographis for the first time (2 pills @ 375mg each) and I feel really drowsy for some reason. Is this normal? I don't feel bad or dizzy, just really drowsy (like I may actually need to go nap soon) like an hour after taking it. I'm not sure why so I'm wondering if this is a known side effect.

I'm not sure about that specific side effect and andrographis. But it might also just be a herxing from increased immune boost, which can require a surge of energy from your body.

Highly recommend that you "give in" to the fatigue - if your body is demanding if, let it sleep. That is one of the primary reasons people end up with adrenal problems- they try to fight the body. The body will always win!
