Artemisia and Lyme

I think others who are more familiar with atdmesia will be along to share thoughts... but if you're flaring like that, which we would call a herx, that's a good sign that yes, the artemisinin is hitting the infection.

Thanks Mustard Seed. I've only seen it being discussed as treatment for babesia and parasites. I'm taking cat's claw and azithromycin with it so maybe it is opening cysts. All I know is something is stirring up lyme

It has been shown to hit the cystic form of Lyme.

It also hits a host of other infections though.

Interesting, I wonder how many of these antiparasitics have activity against lyme? I'm pretty sure alinia also has activity against borrelia round bodies. I've always responded to many of these meds, hard to say if it is hitting parasitic infections or lyme in my case. Ivermectin was another one I wondered about in those regards...
