As Trav noted, salt craving is most likely from adrenal issues. Salt can give people energy. Never made my pain easier though. Could be from thyroid issues to, as Iodine in salt is need to produce thyroid hormone.
I'm a salt-aholic too, and dont care at all for sweets. The "I use stevia in place of sugar" line always stumped me, as I've never had sugar or any replacement in my kitchen ever, nor the desire. Sugar cravings might be yeast/candida calling for dinner. (?) I had carb cravings though, thru the roof with candida. That said, people with "salt cravings" can stump those who dont have / crave it.
As far as killing stuff, you would need a dangerous level of salt in your body. Unless you have the heart of an Olympic Athlete, that high of sodium level is not good for you.
