i have been reading about adrenal fattigue i think i have the same patteren feeling sick morning alittle bit better noon then late afternoon i get really sick again and if i have been working i got really sick late afternoon then evening i get the best time of the day any good tips i have Thorne Adrenal Cortex,ashwagandha,l-tyrosine laying home but i dont take it can i use those and when to take it?if i got very sick around dinner and i take 5 mg predsinolone i had a few pills only i get better around 30-45 min after the pill isent that a proof there is something wrong with my adrenal cortisol?i found a doctor in denmark now who can help treatment with borellia now but what if the lyme test are wrong and i dont have it and i have stress adrenal fattigue insted and i start to use lots of antibiotic dosent i make my adrenal fattigue alot worse?

Who has prescribed the 5 mg Prednisone? I think it's best you have a discussion with the Dr. who is going to treat you for Lyme Disease.

The lyme tests aren't wrong. Even if the prednisone makes you feel better - that doesn't mean you don't have lyme disease. Lyme can affect our adrenals.
You still need to treat the lyme disease.

The antibiotics may not make the adrenal fatigue a lot worse. You may herx..but you can help minimize that by doing effective detoxing.

Eventually with treatment, the adrenal fatigue should get better.

hi girlie i got a couple from my dad i said i gonna try it when i am worst late afternoon i am so ill head preasure tired weird noises in head like a sharp pain and that pill take the top of it i got 2 test in denmark they where negative and one in germany it was positive and low cd57 so i am just alittle confused are test from denmark correct or are test from germany correct its not easy when there are no 100% test so i am just affraid to start treatment if i dont have lyme and worsen whats else is wrong with me if i take alot of antibiotic i get alot worse if i trying to work

There are a lot of false negatives.. but not false positives.

I would say the Denmark tests were false. What lab were the Denmark tests done at?

Was the Lab in Germany Armin Lab?

When we treat, sometimes we can get worse before we get better. When the bacteria dies off it will create inflammation and this results in worsening of current symptoms and also new symptoms. This is called a herx reaction (short for Herxheimer)

This is why it's important to detox - daily - multiple methods. This will flush out the toxins that create the inflammation. This can help minimize the symptoms of the herx,

In fact - you should start detoxing right away - start with a few methods and every few days add in another on, gradually increasing until you are doing multiple methods daily.

Here is a site with good detoxing ideas:

You can start right away by drinking minimum 8 glasses of water daily.
- Buy some probiotics and start taking them daily.
- buy something to support your liver. Eg- Milk Thistle seed extract.
(Not to be used if you have an allergy to ragweed)

Then every few days add in another detox.

Some ideas:
- warm Epsom salt baths
- dry brush your skin before the baths
- take a binder - eg - Activated Charcoal - this needs to be taken two hours away from anything else. ( food, supplements, antibiotics, etc) because it will usher everything out of your stomach.

in denmark they say i dont have it and they say all have ebv but i dont know if you have more then one symptom in denmark you are crazy thats my experience where i live
today i tryed lemon water
probiotic
glutione or something like that maybe i have to take it every day now i allways take one pill and then wait a month and take one more i dont think it helps thensmilei am just so sensitive to food and pills i never was that before

It's best to be tested before taking any kind of steroidal drug. If you don't need them, they can do more harm than good. But if needed, they can be an important part of healing (in small doses and under close supervision)

i think i need to see a private doctor soon i just have to get better before long drive is it normal to get cracking jaw and neck cracks to and feels like sandpaper in neck with lyme when i eat i need to put preassure on jaw muscle with my one hand so the cracking lessens alittle but my symptoms are some days better then others but lately i have been sick most of the time i had done hard work at home but have finally learned i have to slow down becouse i getting more and more ill when i work i dont know why before i could work all day

The reason you are not able to work as much is because your body is fighting a very complex and horrible disease! Yes, please do slow down and allow your body to heal. If you are feeling worse after being active, that's your body telling you that it's too much.

And please stop using the prednisone. Your tests show that you do have Lyme, and Lyme lowers our immune function - prednisone lowers it ever further. In order to heal, we need to raise our immune function, so the prednisone use is going to make it much harder to heal.

The reason the prednisone helps you feel better is because it has a very strong anti-inflammatory action - but because it does other things as well (like lower the immune function) it's never suggested while a person has an active infection. There are other anti-inflammatories you can use that won't lower your immune function that I would encourage you to look into instead.

i diddent work today and am not so sick this evening so i dont take pred today
traveler can i ask u what you took to get cured?herbs vitamins etc

Well, let me ask you if you can define 'having trouble tolerating food'? This may be an issue that needs to be addressed before you go further through treatments.

I used herbs to heal - I did try pharma abx, but they failed me. You can read a 'short version' of my story by following the link in the bottom of my posts (down in the signature line), if you are interested in it.

And we only want you to avoid prednisone use because it will work against you trying to heal these infections. By taking pharma or herbal anti-inflammatories regularly, you can still reduce the inflammation, but without putting your healing at risk.

Have you tried the foot soaks yet? Those may be particularly helpful for you as well.

The not being able to do as much is a very common issue with Lyme patients, and we all share in the frustration of that. But, we do need to allow our bodies the rest they need to overcome such a devastatingly complex infection such as we deal with. Take the time to rest and to care for your body as if you are very, very ill - as you are!

Can we be of help with finding a doctor for you? Did we already try?

i can get lightheaded from eating or foggy head not allways and i have to eat small meals but today i have had bad stomach pain burning guts

A foot soak is for detoxing.

Fill a bucket with warm water, add some epsom salts and soak your feet.

Some people have problems at first with the full bath tub and soaking their body...and others just simply don't have a bath tub.

The foot soak will allow the toxins to exit through the feet.

continue to support your adrenals, but don't lock into them as the single source of your fatigue, even though you feel better after taking a prednisone pill.

For example, I took hydrocortisone for a while and felt a little better, but it wasn't until after I took cytomel (t3) when I saw most of my fatigue level off. after that I further supplemented with Fish oil and Phosphatidyl Choline and things even got better. my cortisol levels tested OK last blood work a week ago.

so don't lock into Adrenals, but do support them, along with your Gut (probiotics etc), and overall health.

your doc should do a full workup to see where your cortisol, thyroid levels (Free T3,Free T4, reverse T3), CBC, vitamin D, Liver function etc.

Many people try to omit or limit sugar from their diet.
I don't know if it's 'normal' for it to cause brain fog with lyme...but it wouldn't surprise me.
Sugar increases your blood sugar...and that could definitely affect your brain.

Eating sugar before you go to bed is not a good idea because you won't be doing anything to burn it off...so you could end up with high blood glucose through the night and into the morning.

sorry i ask alot but what about eyes if i watch tv i feel like i gonna pass out an uncomfortable feeling and then i focus on another object and it stops is it something with my eyes?and can i herx from one abx pill feeling sick?

And the Dr says it's normal? Is that the A1C that the Dr. is looking at?

hi girlie i have had a fasting it was normal and glukose tollerent test and it was allso normal my a1c is normal i dont have more test at home but some days its between 7-8,4 fasting blood sugar when i take it home and diabetes online in denmark say it has to be 7 or under so i am confused but maybe non diabetic can have high morning blood sugar?sometimes when i eat it looks like my blood sugar going down insted of going up but its not every morning my blood sugar are high my blood sugar higher if i eat lots of sugar the evening before and if i drink water i can pee 2-3 times every hour and sometimes it feels like i get more burning in feets after sugar and i feel sick alot of the time mornings are very hard

I'm not understanding. If you don't have a tester at home - then how are you testing your blood sugar at home?

If eating food with high sugar causes you to feel sick then I suggest you stop doing that.

Stop eating anything with added sugar and see how you feel. Having a piece of fruit after a meal is fine.

i dont eat sugar more becouse it make me worse but am still very sick and yes i have a tester but i dont have more strips but testet it alot before i ran out of strips my english not good sry

After you've been 'off' sugar for a month or so...you can retest with your Dr. and see what your numbers are - including the A1C.

When are you starting treatment with this Dr. in Denmark?

i have to make an apointment first its a long drive so its gonna be hard but i am just confused somedays i think maybe they have overlooked something else and that i maybe not have lyme but i guess i have to give it ago and then i can tell
