the dizziness is driving me crazy

not really a 'new' topic but one I hope gets some responses and information from, but just when I thought I could tolerate the dizziness, here it comes again.....I think it might have something to do with cycling back on meds (minocycline only) but does anyone else experience an increase in dizziness (or any other symptoms for that matter) when they go back on a med? I live with the dizziness and lightheadedness on a daily basis but it seems it only gets worse when I go back on meds, mostly after the second or third day. This morning I felt as if I was walking two steps ahead of my body, and that just sitting trying to hold my head up straight was an effort. I feel like I'm on a constant merry-go-round or something. How do you all deal with the dizziness?

Dizziness is a side effect of Mino that some do get.

Just wanted to throw this out there as well - but I started developing dizzy spells and vertigo (and truthfully, I'm not sure I could always distinguish between the two). I would experience them even when I was lying in bed.

My Lyme-friendly neurologist didn't have any ideas other than to suggest that most neuropathy was caused by inflammation. I did well on anti-inflammatories but I really think... after looking back... that the dizziness and vertigo or maybe one or the other could very easily have been caused by yeast/fungal overgrowth in the inner ear.

The neuro tech I worked with found this theory pretty interesting. It's tough to know if the y/f overgrowth tx I did was the solution but those symptoms went away around the time I conquered most of those yeast/fungal sx that I know without a doubt WERE due to the y/f overgrowth.

Hope you can find some relief - tough to do much if you're feeling unstable.
