What tests are giving inaccurate results if u got EBV or Lyme?

Hi everyone
I came down with EBV outbreak . The Nurse refused to believe it was EBV but she knows nothing about herx I had to explain what one was.
Yet she wanted to see my labs. Why am I gonna was my time with you lady. Anyways my EBV VCA IGG came back >600 when normal is 0-17u/ml
I have no idea if she ran IGM
***my question is what tests usually
Come back false negative if you have EBV or Lyme? Any tests including STD tests, etc
So would I test a false negative for HIV if I have EBV or lyme?

For Lyme, I would suggest the Elispot LTT, which is the least bad test, as it has 84% sensitivity and 94% specificity. Or you could do a PCR from synovial fluid. It is less sensitive (30%), but if it comes out positive, it is almost sure you have Lyme.
