Friends just told me. So sad we have another name to add to the list of people with lyme disease.

When will all of these celebrities get together and help everyone?

It was quite awhile ago. She had to retrain her vocal cords. So many with these infections.

She announced this several months ago - I believe she is on that list?

I saw her in concert 2015 and her voice has changed.

I wish she'd give more information - did she not have any other symptoms? And treatment?

Gosh, I either forgot about her or didn't know....

Girlie, I tried to look her up and see what treatment she did. I could not find anything. I wish she would tell more. Heck, I wish they all would.

the "problem" at least for those hoping to raise awareness is seems many of these celebrities either get well quickly since they aren't chronic or go to the best places in the world (cause they have the means) and get well that way and then its over. how many run around after being healed and are really advocating for others that are still sick and not just some article they did in vanity fair?

Avril Lavigne has been one of the more active celebrities with lyme.
She is involved with the Lymelight Foundation.

Awhile back she donated $60,000 to the foundation which provides money to children with Lyme



Shania doesn't mention treatment at all in her interview(s) - so I'm wondering if she has had treatment.

She says the nerve damage to her vocal cords is permanent.

Thanks for the video Girlie. Did she call it Lyme"S" disease? Disappointed she does not mention other symptoms or treatment.
