Looking for LLMD in the San Diego/SoCal area

Hi! I am hoping to find a LLMD in the San Diego, CA area (or in the Southern California area in general) who accepts insurance.

I am currently working with a naturopath who has just diagnosed me with chronic Lyme disease. I grew up in a small town in the northwest corner of CT and spent a lot of time with family in the East Lyme, CT area. I eventually moved to the bay area in my early 20s before moving down to the San Diego area. I started seeing my ND originally to rule out any prolonged issues after severe withdrawal with tapering off of psychiatric medications. I've already eradicated SIBO while working with her, but without any change in my symptoms she tested me for Lyme. I will be planning to test for co-infections/PANDAS/etc. next and hope to find a LLMD down here. My ND had one she worked with who recently retired, so we are on the search! Some other side information about me, I have diagnoses of Aspergers, generalized anxiety, and PTSD. I will leave it at that before I ramble too much.

I am working with an MD near San Diego, who is an EXCELLENT Lyme specialist and family practitioner. Unfortunately, she is no longer participating in any insurance program--this is typical for Lyme specialists because the insurance companies place restrictions on treatment and force ineffective and unfavorable treatments onto patients. They are also known to go after MD's licenses or suing them for not following ineffective Lyme treatment guidelines.

But she is worth every dime she charges. I started seeing her early 2014 after going undiagnosed for 16+ years. I was one of her tougher cases - by the time I saw her my problems were VERY complicated. But here I am now, on my last leg of treatment. I strongly recommend her.
