Taking doxy with food. Is that okay?

In the begining, just one day I tried to take without any food, and I vomited in less than thirty minutes.

After that I have been taking with a piece of the Quaker brand, rice cakes lightly salted...because there is only one ingredient.
It has been working, no stomach pain or vomiting.

But for the past few days, I have been hungry, eating a meal and taking Doxy. I take care not to drink milk or cheese. Maybe I shouldn't eat a meal with Doxy.

How do you take your Doxy and how do you space your meals?

I always take it with a meal (breakfast and dinner). I eat half, take my abx, and then finish my meal. My LLMD actually recommended that, and it seems to be working.
