KB, sorry this is escalating on you. I made the suggestion on your previous anxiety thread about how much the herb tincture avena sativa helped me/is helping me.
I was waking up in the panic/anxiety attacks from dead sleep. Yes, it sure does feel like an adrenaline rush, that won't quit. It's that fight or flight reaction, and I was beginning to think my system was addicted to the rush of it, because it happened so often. Sometimes because I was fearful about something but when I woke up that way, what was the reason for it then? IDK.
Finally, after 33 years of this, all the way up to just last month, I am free of them. I still take it for maintenance, and probably always will.
It may not help you, but it's so inexpensive, and safe, it's sure worth a try. As I said, I didn't herx, I did start with 1 drop because I'm a big chicken, but before 2 months were out I was no longer measuring it.
I hate to see anyone go through this. It is so counter productive to your body's fight against the invading organisms. And absolutely ruins your days.
You may know if it's going to help after the first or second little dose. For extra 'ooomph', add it to a swig of really warm water. Then you can actually feel it like a warm hug.
