Best cheap infrared sauna?

I'm looking to buy a cheap infrared sauna. Unfortunately I can't afford those really nice wood ones. I've heard some good things about the cheap portable ones on amazon. Do they actually work? I'm looking to spend around $200 or less. Any recommendations? Links would be great! Thanks

I found this review of portable saunas:

It listed "3 Best Portable Infrared Saunas 2017." One of them was $593, but the other two were priced at $178 and $229.

I've never used a portable sauna, so I can't speak to their effectiveness. However, I would read many of the positive AND negative reviews and see how you feel.

If you think you might want to purchase one, I would contact Amazon.com and ask about what sort of recourse you might have, should the sauna not work for you. I've been told Amazon.com has great customer service. So, doing some homework up front could help ease your mind about a potential purchase.

i used exactly this model, with fantastic results. it's not even infrared but gave me a lot of love when i felt the worst

imho the whole idea is to sweat like a pig, if u do that u get toxins out and help antibioticsm/herbs reach deep through the capilaries because your peripheral circulation gets stimulated.

I made one, dirt cheap.

It doesn't matter what it looks like to me, nor do i have the money or energy to build a nice sauna. Im using for its theraputic effects, not style. I'm not at my house right now but when i get back in a couple days ill take a picture to show you.

I bought 4, 250 watt infared bulbs (tho 3 is plenty sufficient) and 4 sockets at home depot and mounted them to a piece of scrap wood i had. I then cut the casing off an extension cord and wired the bulbs in parallel so when i plug in the cord, they all turn on. If it gets too hot i just unscrew one, thus saving me the 5 bucks and 10 minutes of wiring in a switch.

Then i bought 3 mylar space blankets from an outdoor store for like $1.50 each and duck taped them together to form a 3 sided non rigid structure. I put the bulbs up against the wall in my closet because it's a small enclosed space and hang the mylar from my closet rod, thus making a relatively enclosed structure that reflects the infared around. Let me tell you, that thing gets hot as f#@%

Totally ghetto, totally cheap, totally quick and totally as useful as a thousand dollar sauna.
