hello all its my 5 day of doxy only 100 mg each evening yesterday was not so bad when i wake up but today i was very sick feeling fever, more stomach pain very ill like i have inflamation or poison and brain fog in body but then i start to move around to try forget it alittle and i am alittle better and some small tinnitus spikes i know ppl say its a herx but i cant thinking about maybe its a side effect or i have another diese and i just make it worse with abx killing good stuff i maybe need sometimes the tinnitus spike feels like its in my brain insted of ears
is it normal to feel very sick poison,fever,flu like on a herx so bad you allmost cant get out of bed?
its funny yesterday i had better stomach and thought doxy help but today terrible stomach pain

Herxing can be different intensities for all of us.

Sorry you feeling this way, keep detoxing and drinking lemon with water.

Are you able to use activated charcoal( take two hours away from any meds, supplements or herbals so it doesn't bind them also.

I have heard many use alka seltzer Gold for herxing if you can get some. It has to be the Gold kind.

Others should be along to offer suggestions, hang in there.

hi goshawk i have some parsley burbur and pinella for detox and lemon
and if it was a herx whhy does i allways feel worse morning or i feel bad all the time but the fever,flu like are worse morning somebody else worse morning when herxing?and maybe once a month i have a couple of hours or half a day where i feel allmost normal its so nice when that happen is that normal to?and i am waking up with runny nose allso some days when taking doxy

Did you take doxy with food????
I tried to take without it and I felt like I was gonna die with so much nausea. Doxy is hard on the stomach.

But on my first week I didn't feel any good...
I'm at the end of my pills, and only now I feel back to normal.
It took time for me.

hi dmonica i take doxy after food or 30 min after food and yesterday i thought yeah my stomach are better allmost nothing wrong so i thought doxy helped me but i was wrong today when i woke up bad stomach pain or gut pain and very sick so i am affraid to take one tonight

Hi alunke- This is tough. It could be that your stomach pain is from the Borrelia or could be a herx or it could be the doxy. Did you have stomach pain as one of your symptoms before beginning treatment?

This is where I think pulsing abx makes a lot of sense. Seems like it would be easier to figure out the source of the symptom.

hi denver yes it started with stomach pain and i dont know if lyme can start with stomach pain

If you're having stomach problems then don't wait 30 minutes after eating to take the doxy. Take it right after you eat.
