I've read that Lyme doesn't like the stevia plant, does anyone have any info on this- thnx

don't expect miracles, i've been taking large amounts of stevia since the first day the study got published by Eva Sapi and i used one of her successful alcohol extracts (The one by NOW). Im taking 30-40 drops a day. No major effects in 1.5h years ... i mean im not cured smile

Another blog poster here used the other one by Nutramedix, no cure there either...

My bad, I should have checked the other threads first before posting. Thanks for the info and your experience. I used to use it all the time and started again when I heard this news. I was feeling just horrible when I did and started to feeling a lot better right away. Like you I've been using a lot of it daily thinking I was on to 'something' but now I feel bad again. I didn't know they claim it can't be absorbed though the intestines. Seems like every time I think something is working - it's not.

I cannot tell you how many people in my lyme support group come to the meetings as newbies and the first question asked is about stevia.

I think it is number one google item for lyme...... All of them think it is a cure.

I don't think it hurts to take it. I have no idea if it helps. We have used it for years as a sugar substitute in our home way before I got bit. I still got lyme.
