Burning Stomach

yes, me.

it was bartonella induced gastritis. it resolved with rifampin and levofloxacin. i had horrible pains, i was having antacids with me in every pocket and gaviscon www.gaviscon.co.uk/ they helped but only partially.

i ended up doing two gastroscopies (they are horrible), they were not able to find anything except that my duodenum was reacting to something ... they took samples and ruled out celiac, h pylori, etc.... one GI doc told me straight "dude your stomach looks weird, i dont know what u have, u are sick but i dont know what it is, it's something ive never seen before". coming from a GI doc, i was shocked to hear so much honesty, they usually never tell u that in face...

the only thing that helped was antibiotics, and then coconut oil, but i was already much better when i got to the diet part....

mpost, thanks for the info. "your stomach looks weird" never a good thing to hear from a dr.

I'll try some over the counter stuff along with my pepcid, see if that does the trick. Try to stick to bland food for a couple of days and see if that takes care of it.

If not, guess it's back to the dr.

You might want to consider taking D-Limonene for acid reflux. It's a safe supplement produced from Orange Peel oil (terpenes.)

You take one capsule every other day for 20 days.
