I get ruptured blood vessels (that look similar to a blood blister but not raised) frequently on both forearms and occasionally on the back of a hand. Sometimes the pooling blood will break skin and bleed out, but most of the time they look like a redish-brown liver spot 1/8" to 1/2" in dia.
At first we thought this was from Babs since that was my primary co- being treated at the time they started, and red blood cell related. Later we thought they were caused by Bart that likes to mess with blood capillaries.
I have yet to draw a correlation to cause and effect. At my last LLMD appointment we discussed a recent outbreak and she now thinks Alinia is hitting on something.
