magnesium may help with the shaking twitching . and i found zhangs houttynia hh2 with allicin to be most effective next to the essential medica formula for bartonella.byron whites, a bart didnt do much ..if abx pulse zith500 and rifampin600 on your days off bvt ...do 3000 mg vit c and sleep lots for your adrenals it sounds like they might be shot from the years of stress. i know how that goes...

Well got so weak i could barely move last night ended up in the er. Severely dehydrated. Few bags of fluids and some other meds back home now but still feel awful. Luckily the doc was a transplant from new jersey and was really well versed in lyme. He could not believe that no one has done a coinfection test so he tested for bart, babs, and a couple others i can't think of right now. Brain is not working to good at the moment. Also tested for c dif. Yes i'm on charcoal and yes i'm skipping the meds for a few days until i feel a little better, if i do. So i keep falling deeper down this hole.

I'm glad you are off meds for a few days. Please don't restart them until you are much better.

Re: coinfections testing - many LLMDs don't test. Some treat all three B's - including one of the most experienced LLMD -Dr J.

No i'm going to skip meds for a few like you said girlie. Not sure when tne picc goes back in, it's not set up yet.

WVMike you really need to look into treating babesia. You may not make much more progress once off IV's unless you get this nasty blocking bug out of the way. Can take 6-12 months of pounding away at it to get some relief.

My wife went through something similar took multiple abx cocktails (including flagyl and tindamax) over a 1 year period and got nowhere. Now that she's doing a babesia focused protocol along with a few abx's she's feeling like utter garbage but that's because she's actually knocking back babesia. She will come out on the other side better quesiton is how long does it take.

Dr. J in DC says most patients can clear babesia in 4 months on his protocol but there are enough folks where it takes 6, 9 or 12 months. Dr. J knows what he's doing.
