Bring a list of your sx and anything you have been using for self treatment (ie, herbals, bee pollen, vitamins and supplements, alt treatments), photos of any strange rashes or bruising, and any test results even if negative.

Write down your questions, don't leave it up to your memory, take notes, and don't be afraid to ask to repeat something you don't understand.

Ask how many lyme patients they've treated and how long they've been treating lyme. What is their success rate? Do they use antibiox, herbals or a combo?

What detox methods do they recommend?

If office is inconvenient for you, will they do phone appointments?

Do they take insurance?

Are there dietary recommendations?

Don't be hesitant to learn as much as possible before going in ask questions. If I had not educated myself best I could, I might not still know the answers to many of the problems dealing with.

This forum is a great place to learn. You can search most any subject you wish in search bar. What helps me is to put Lyme Disease first, then whatever you are wondering.

Example - Lyme Disease with constant fatigue. By putting Lyme Disease first, it does not take you to other areas not Lyme related. Best to you.

Ask what way is best to contact them in between appointments if necessary. Some prefer to be contacted by phone, others prefer to be contacted by email.
