Update, where to turn?

So I stopped abx in July, just taking multis, vit D, and triphala. Ive pretty much felt great since, except 2 weird incidences I cant figure out. I have a notion its my Hashimotos, but cant be sure. Go back mid Sept for thryoid panel.

July 7th, or abouts, I got off work and laid down for the night. Within half hour I got shooting pain across my upper back mainly, some on sides of my back, and soreness around my stomach. I figured gallbladder attack. Fought off urge to go to ER. Next day or so, broke out in hives. Never had hives before.

Fast forward to 8/25. Same thing. Laid down after work and I could feel the shooting pain once again coming on. This time it was more on my right side between back and abdomen, but then quickly shot across my back, mid and upper. Not as bad as the last time, but real close. Still fought off urge to go to ER. Next day, hives....again. Took a zantac and benadryl. Found out benadryl REALLY makes me feel like im drunk. BUT, it stopped the hives and itching.

Honestly, I dont have a clue whats going on. I did have some clay colored stool once a month, but the odd colored stool NEVER coincided with these "attacks". Never.

I read up some more on Hashimotos and found the immune response can escalate very quickly causing similar incidences. Im actually starting to itch just thinking about it!

I have had gallbladder scanned in the last 6 months and no stones. I know that doesnt mean much, probably need a HIDA scan. But even so the gallbladder wouldnt explain the hives the next day.

Do you think its the Lyme/Bart still? Or the Hashimotos? Something else? Maybe see an immunologist? Today is my birthday, so I might not get back on today. Maybe later tonight. Thanks for your help!

Zantac and Benadryl stopped the itching, but the Benadryl kicked my butt! I felt drunk. So yesterday I substituted Zyrtec for the Benadryl and I felt normal for once. I little detective work by my sister suggests the itching may be a simple solution.....laundry detergent. I use a product called Tide Pods. I never noticed that the color of dye had changed in the last batch I bought. Whether thats it or not I cant be sure, but I bought a hypoallergenic product to test and see if the dye change is causing the itching.

The predominant back pain with occasional abdominal pain I cannot figure out. So, ill be monitoring foods and see where that takes me. At my next doc visit, ill ask if its worth going through food allergy testing, seeing an immunologist, getting a HIDA scan(which im not fond of, if it shows w non functioning gallbladder ill be hesitant to have it removed. Rather see if I can manage to get it working again if that indeed is the case), or just riding things out and see where it gets me.
