Resting heart rate 136--is this LD related?

18my/PM Daughter finally Dx with Lyme. I guess the cyst type. Had two tick bites 10 years ago. MUCH to learn but wondering if cardiac symptoms brushed off as anxiety could be Lyme related. She has dealt with anxiety but sometimes when she's feeling fine her heart rate is so high. Read about rare instances of Lyme going to the heart.

i'm sorry your daughter has Lyme Disease with anxiety.

Definitely, anxiety could be lyme related - and probably is.
Same with the heart.

Does your daughter have a LLMD to treat her? If not, we can help you find one.

YES!! I was in the ER two days in a row for a racing and irregular heartbeat before I knew that I had Lyme. Doctors had absolutely no idea what was wrong with me. Even after doing and EKG and Stress Test. They diagnosed me with tachycardia which I now know was brought on by Lyme.

Yes! She has low BP. Dx orthostatic hypotension. Passes out. Also received a host of other more serious MH rule out Dx including bipolar, autism, ADHD and OCD-- all sort of out of the blue 18 months ago. Lyme might explain all of it. Worried that "herxing" could cause be destabilizing. Referred to a neurologist on D.C. For oversight on some of the MH issues but sure sounds inconvenient! Will likely receive IV antibiotics from local integrative med doc who Dx the Lyme.
