I do NOT recommend getting the vaccine.
I believe this was 1 of 2 environmental triggers that activated the autoimmune type dysfunction of chronic Lyme for me. I had a flu shot, and 4 days later I believe I came in contact with biotoxins in contaminated seafood. That was when my chronic symptoms 1st started. I didn't get any more vaccines until after I got much sicker in 2015. At that point, I knew something was terribly wrong with my immune system. The allergist checked my pneumonia titers and said they were low. He gave me a pneomovax vaccine. Two weeks later I got a flu shot. I didn't know the dangers then.

I do NOT recommend hand sanitizers or antibacterial soap.
When I got sick again in 2015, the NP who saw me asked if I used those products. I told her I did. I knew I was not a healthy person and I thought they would protect me. I guess you could say I was a germaphobe. She told me that they were changing direction about
that and believed those products made people more not less susceptible to infections. She said the sickest people she knew constantly used hand sanitizer. She told me to wash my hands instead with regular soap. I've been doing that ever since and I've only had a brief cold one time since then. HOWEVER, I make sure I wash my hands after using the bathroom, after handling anything dirty or germy and before touching my face or mouth or food. I also wash my hands as soon as I return home before handling anything.
