Lyme diet, blue corn chips?

Searching for snack options. I know standard white and yellow corn are bad for us lymies but what about blue corn chips? Some say listen to your body but I have symptoms not matter what I eat and I have been really strict with my diet. Thoughts fellow lymies?

i dont think corn is that bad. it depends on how much you eat. a bit is not going to kill you. it has no gluten no dairy, but of course it will be turned into glucose. But so are potatoes... So as long as u dont eat your life out of corn, it's OK...

one healthy snack is NUTS, lots of nuts, all types of nuts, and always RAW. roasted is bad because it changes the percentage of saturated fats, and that is generally bad because your liver will have hard time to process them. so... raw nuts.

It is the gluten in chips that people are saying is bad for you. If you are trying to stay away from gluten, buy a chip that says gluten free.

Luke's is a brand that I have eaten and they are one of the few chips that don't taste like cardboard. You can get them at Walmart or order on Amazon. A huge selection to choose from.

Corn has no gluten, never did.

Want the best corn? Must be natural non-gmo. Period. GMO corn is bad for the gut. They have organic non- gmo corn chips in the healthy section of most bigger stores. $1 more per bag. With or without sea salt.

If Round up is sprayed on GMO corn fields, its made to withstand this while Round up kills everything else in the field.

So no, regular corn is not good for you. Will it kill you? no. Will it add to every other gut issue? yes.

That said, some people dont tolerate any corn. (If you @%t your pants, avoid it). ; )

Thanks for the input. Some times when traveling or visiting friends/family it's good to have extra choices. I stay away from anything that usually has corn it it. I know the sugar/ starch content is higher in the white foods. So I stay away from white potato, white rice, pastas ( except those made with lentils). Just wondered if that content was any lower in the blue. I have had the illness for over 20 years and did not know it. I have only been in treated for just over a year so I am continuing to try to stay strict with if it at all possible. I have found several good snacks, sweet potato chips are wonderful and usually very clean, there is a brand called Beanitos ( Walmart carries it) that is made from black bean that aren't bad. Especially with hummus. Of course almost anything is good with hummus. Yum!
