I just give a 2 months (max 3) for a type of treatment, combo of herbs, or frequencies to work.
If nothing happens, I change everything (or almost), sometimes radically.
Either I go through diet change, or change a device I use (or settings), or change the homeopathic school, or add Chinese or Cowden herbs, or go nosodes, or treat my teeth / mouth...
when I knew nothing about lyme, I had to wait to see a practitioner, so that they gave me my treatment.
But even with what they suggested me, I never stayed put, and kept adding and subtracting things.
when I started Buhner, I saw changes. Quite some changes.
When I added Cowden, I also saw changes.
chinese herbs, again.
When I added loads of binders, in rotation, in cocktails, I also saw immediate changes.
Same as with microfrequency treatment, then tapping, acupressure, homeopathics, bee products, teeth treatments, heavy metal detox...
As I was ultra sensitive to herbs, supplements, I had to find alternatives, anyway, and as was practically totally bed or sofa bound, I had to keep trying in order to be able to stand up a few hours a day.
At a certain point, I had to jungle with 60 substances a day (remedies, frequencies, tapping, special food, probiotics, homeopathics, whatever that made some effect).
But I would NOT have done that, if I felt no difference.
I had a 1 year old child to look after (no family around), so I needed to be a bit functional.
I guess, people in better health conditions tend to wait more for treatments to help them (?)
I could see if I was getting better just by the number of minutes I could keep standing, then walking, then able to see the sunlight again, when I re-started being able to take a shower on my own again, stuff like that.
When you are already not that bad, I guess you can afford to wait and see.
It's also harder to check if you are improving, when you are not that bad as some of us...
i could see clear improvements in a matter of days after starting a treatment, herbal combination, whatever I introduced. Sometimes in less than a day.
In fact, I think I never waited even a month to feel better.
I had a long way to go, and in the end, true, it was harder to see improvements as it was hard to track milder symptoms.
But I created one rule of thumb: if my symptoms do not bulge, there's something missing, wrong.
Symptoms can change (that can be a good sign, in my experience), they can worsen (which can mean good too), but the WORST, is when they do not bulge but keep there for long.
Long means, 1 month, maybe 2? (I'm not patient...)
Then it's time for a change, in my opinion.
change does not mean necessarily change the drugs, herbs, supplements completely...
It can be simply: change your diet drastically. Or moderately.
Or look into your mouth and treat it.
Have you treated scars? That could be a point blocking the symptoms to change.
Or psychological aspects of disease?
Or added acupressure or acupuncture? (so that treatment will reach those blocked points?)
Or colon cleanse?
Ionic foot baths?
You can add cannabis, or bee products, for example.
This is just how I treated myself, not a standard way most people do...
