I’m taking milk thistle as I have elevated liver enzymes, this contains alcohol... is that not bad for the liver???
Also, do I need to take it away from the abx or does it not matter and how much should I be taking? My liver enzymes were 123 if that means anything to anyone?

If it is a tincture, the alcohol is probably very minute, so I don't think it would be an issue unless you had some liver damage already and an MD has advised to not use alcohol.
I take milk thistle capsules, one in am, one in afternoon pm and then a few at bedtime.
I use Jarrow brand standardized capsules. I have had no issues with these and when I was on ABX for 10 months my liver blood work always came back good.

Thank you goshawk, it says 62% alcohol on the bottle, I don’t think I had liver damage before.
What strength are the capsules you take?

I take 150 mg capsules. So about
750 mg a day. The Buhner Bartonella protocol recommends 1250 mg a day for milk thistle.
I have been doing ok on this amount so I have not increased as of yet.
I looked at my tinctures from Woodland essence and the alcohol percentage varies fro 5 % to 60 % for the various tinctures.

Not sure if that is true - here's a thread on that subject:

I hate the alcohol in these tinctures - and I take a lot of them. So I always have a couple of small glasses of water going and add tinctures throughout the day. And then I let them sit for a few hours for the alcohol to evaporate. It's pretty successful - no alcohol taste.
