Relapsing fever actually should be distinguished from Lyme. Im surprised they're even claiming they are hard to distinguish. Maybe there are nuances in the RF world just like the Lyme that aren't mainstream and may lead to overlap, but generally RF is recognized more as a recurring acute illness. Unlike Lyme, spirochetes in RF are usually numerous to the point that at certain parts of the cycle they can easily be seen in the blood. If my memory serves me that is. It doesn't tend to be the same kind of degenerative long term slowly progressive illness that Lyme is, more so a nightmarish recurring episode of acute flu like symptoms
Anyways this reactive t cell test is cool. I need to go back and read the science on it. I kind of want to try it since I was "negative" for serology but don't feel like spending the money
