I've done IGG & IGM for both as well as FISH through IGeneX. All negative. I did get a IGG positive for Bartonella through Bioreference. It's very frustrating to pay so much and not get definitive answers.
I would consider doing the DNA connexions test over IGeneX due to the fact that it tests for more coinfections for $500. And you don't need a doctor. Need to exercise or do deep tissue massage prior and wait a bit to collect urine. It is a PCR test so it's directly looking for bacteria.
Hopefully others will give you more info on the test...I have no idea what the difference between IGG/IGM and whole blood is.
