Yes - the antifungals can interfere with the yeast in the probiotics.

You might want to also incorporate a good GI binder that can help remove toxins and die off more effectively and also prevent overgrowth. And it would be good to implement the following sequence:

For the first antimicrobial dose of the day:

1. antimicrobial

2. antifungal

- wait an hour -

3. probiotic


And for the 2nd or the only antimicrobial dose of the day - I would do this at night before bedtime:

1. antimicrobials

2. antifungal

- wait min. 1.5 hrs -

3. GI binder

- wait min. 2 hrs -

4. probiotic

5. bedtime

Yes, I had c diff in April. I recovered from it. I had stopped all antibiotics from April until early September when I had another bite/bulls eye rash. Became very sick and started back on antibiotics. Trying NOT to get c diff again feels like a full time job. I'm doing so much to protect my gut and taking a lot of probiotics. If I get c diff again... then I'm done with antibiotics and I'm a sitting duck. My hope/plan is to treat with antibiotics for another few months and really knock down the bacterial load and then switch over to herbs again like last time I got bit. But I am in no place right now to treat with herbs alone as I've been so sick and acutely infectious. I started monistat last night so hopefully that will help. I haven't really had much yeast challenges. However, now I do have a yeast infection. So I'm consuming zero sugar and zero yeast along with taking monolaurin and monistat. I speak with my doctor (dr H) tomorrow and I'll see what else he recommends.
