Well, today is the infamous Black Friday. I love Amazon!

Keeping it on a lyme/holiday topic: What was the best gift you have ever given or received as a lymie?

My favorite gift that I received was from my sister. She sent me a stuffed spirochete and tick along with a dart gun to shoot the two buggers with. I loved it. Especially when the dog tore the two up in the backyard.

well, I haven't had the opportunity to give a Lymie a gift, but I would think a few cases of Epsom salts, a sauna and a gift certificate to one of the herbal companies would be nice.

I specifically asked to do a laid back holiday with NO GIFTS. I need to be way too particular with the food I eat, the products I use, there’s no room in my house for Knick knacks.
What could I use? Gift cards for amazon or cash to buy my supplements. Permethrin. A vitamix.
All I asked my husband for was to find someone to deep clean my house. It’s gross. I need a professional.

You know, I always feel bad when I buy things for myself, because they don't contribute to my getting better. Though, I mean, unless you're giving me my health back, I wouldn't be happy with any amount of tinctures or supplements on a Christmas or birthday. Then again, I'm in a dark place right now, so...

Good friends, true family, love that's not a world away. For the material, a nice Rolex Sub, plane tickets to destinations far and wide, residences in a couple of them, Rolls-Royce Wraith. I could think of a couple hundred more things, probably.

Dreaming only of things I can't have in this life.

We're having another fit with settle and compromise, stomaching the life given. Don't bother with the words. They won't reach me.

I don't know why I bother, when it's nothing but garbage I spew, but I'm selfish and took the outlet.

All my love and well wishes, if it's the last our paths cross. :D

edit: my heart's energy that all gifts are delivered by Santa to your lives this year. mwah.

Most of the gifts I ask for nowadays are related to Lyme and healing. We spend so much money on treatment for 4 and food for clean eating, there are lots of things I want that I just don't feel like spending money on. Last year, I got 2 himalayan salt lamps, which I love, and this year I'm asking for EMF protection sleeves for my various electronic devices.

I think my himalayan salt lamps have been my favorite. I honestly don't know if they actually do anything, but they look so pretty and cast such a nice, warm glow, that they make me happy, which is a feat in and of itself. smile

I'm so sick of knick knacks. I can't stand it. I appreciate the sentiment, but we have no room either.

Mudshark - Heady Topper? Shame on me, I live in NH. I should have known what that was! I am WoodChuck gal. I bet my DH would love a Heady Topper.


Goshawk - supplements/herbals get expensive fast. GCs would definitely be a wanted gift!

BabsBunny - I hear you on the deep cleaning on the house! I would so love that! GCs are super ideal. When we went through lyme 1.0 in 2014 our inlaws gave us GCs to a local organic grocery store. The GC was the best.

NotQuiteAntonio - Another one I had to lookup - Rolex Sub . I was thinking something snazzy parked next to the Yellow Submarine. Nice!


Jasperilla - Great idea on the EMF sleeves! I also love the cozy idea you put out there with the lamps. I am a cozy girl, too. Socks are my thing!

10LymeB - knick knacks, indeed, don't sound high on anyone's list. Folks want ways to support the healing and increasing comfort.

Magoo2- Biological DDS checkup.....tell me about it. 3 months ago I had my tooth pulled to prepare for a implant. Know I am too scared to move forward with the implant because it isn't a DDS. So I sit with a missing tooth. My kids love to tease me about it. My husband knows better.

Hoping all of you get what you wish. If anyone asks what you want, you might want to print out this thread and leave it strategically on the fridge ;)

All I asked for this year was money towards my January lyme appointment or probiotics. Having Lyme is expensive.

But back in April my boyfriend ordered lyme disease bracelets for my family and friends to wear. I wear it every day to remind myself how bad ass I am lol.
