Who has got the HPV Vaccine Gardasil?

Not me.

I don't get vaccines anymore - haven't for many years.

Maybe the last one was tetanus

I am too old to have gotten the Gardasil vax, but my Lyme crash came a few months after I got the Hep A vaccine. I unknowingly had Lyme for many years, but was mostly without symptoms until I, quite literally, went from healthy to non-functional overnight. I'm convinced they are related.

I got the vaccine but can't pinpoint anything directly it may have caused. I do suspect all of the vaccines I have had have effected me though.

Isn't it strange? My stomach pain/nausea lasted for years after the hep A and B vaccines. Now that I got my lyme diagnosis... I wonder if that was some strange manifestation of lyme.

I've never been particularly healthy is the thing. I had frequent ear infections and strep throat as a child/teen, and then progressed into GI issues and mental health issues. My sleep got bad too, and allergies came. I got gardisil around probably 15 years of age, and was diagnosed with lyme at 27. I was at my worst health wose by 25. Its hard to say what started when and why.

That is horrible, PDX.

They push that vaccine on the boys, too.

At my son's last pcp appointment, he is 17, they asked him if he wanted the HPV vaccine; I was in the room. I said no. They said something along the lines of it will be his decision soon. Grrr.

Along the HPV vaccination theme. We have these HPV commercials showing parents wishing they vaccinated their kids with HPV vaccine; thus, trying to instill fear. It drives me nuts.

My daughter had it when it first came out so...15+ years ago and she's just fine. A healthy normal 29 year old. Well not so normal but then who is

The problem is that people get vaccines and don't realize that they have dormant diseases. The vaccine then causes the disease to no longer be dormant and all heck breaks loose.

They won't give you a flu shot if you have the sniffles so you can understand the implications of someone getting any vaccine who has Lyme or any other immune suppressing disease and doesn't realize it yet.


The vaccine is the trigger, not the actual issue.

That is so awful. That's their only consequence? They just have to shell out some money? They should be put in jail.
