Cats claw cause dizziness for anyone?

I’m taking 15 drops morning and evening with Japanese knotsweed and astralagus. Last few days had slight dizziness.

Szabo anytime you add in something new or sometimes if you take something away, you can have a change in symptoms.

Also lyme waxes and wanes. So lyme symptoms can come and go. It is frustrating because it can be hard to tell if it is lyme or is it the herbs.

In my case I had to factor in the moon and the barometric pressure. I am extremely sensitive to both of those things and they would cause my symptoms to rise and fall.

Lyme stinks! Nothing about it is usual.

Thanks PeteZa, yeah it’s so frustrating! I don’t know now whether I should decrease the dosage?! Or just rode with it and see what happens?

Anytime I suspected an herb of making me feel worse, I backed off a little. Got to my "whatever normal" place and then started slow again.

I may try that, I don’t have any other symptoms, I’ve been increasing the dose of all the herbs very slowly. Let’s see I will half the dose for a week or so and see if it helps

cats claw makes me dizzy and faint, but it is shortlasting, so I just keep push on😊 I just don't take it standing up

Szabo, I always google each herb I am going to take and look for side effects. I just want to know what to be on the lookout for.

Dizzy can be a side effect with cat's claw.

Thanks both. I get so worried when new things happen, i will cut back and if that helps I may try to find a substitute.

Just noticed you are taking Astragulus.

Astragulas can exacerbate symptoms sometimes in people with chronic Lyme, just watch for that.

Andrographis(a killing herbal) is part of the core protocol by Buhner along with JK, and Cats claw tomentosa.

Cats claw Tomentosa is a difficult herbal for me, always caused worsening of symptoms. It took some time for me to be able to take even a few drops a day.

Thanks jo. I need to add andrographis to my herbs I have ordered it and am waiting for it. I heard about the astralagus worsening symptoms, I don’t think I have chronic Lyme as I started doxy about 13 days after my bite but then again who knows for sure. I have decreased the cats claw as of this evening and will see if that makes any difference, maybe I took too high a dose too quickly

I started taking herbs about 4 weeks ago and am on 15 drops of each twice a day
