Peteza,
I wish I could rest. I've been having trouble sleeping for a while now. I typically feel worst in the morning and feel better in late afternoon/evening. Then I don't feel sleepy when it's time to go to bed and stay up way too late. I'm living with relatives and have to sleep on an air mattress in the living room. They don't get out the living room to 11:00 pm and they get up early around 6 am. I've never been a good sleeper, but this past month or so has been bad.
I'm sure my adrenals are out of whack. It's happened before, especially when I have a lot of toxins. I'm wondering if babesia or Lyme may be coming out more since the bartonella symptoms have died down, but it hasn't really been particular symptoms - mainly headaches, trouble sleeping, and feeling bad. The last real symptoms that flared were burning and sensitivity in my scalp and tissues and some hair loss, dry skin, cracked hands, sensitivity to temperature extremes, some sudden irritability.
I could not do that. I am a sleeper. With lyme I got so tired and I napped. Anytime and anywhere. And then I would sleep all through the night. We head for bed at 9pm and generally I love to read. 10 is lights out. For hubby he is up any time after 4:30am. For me, I'm up at 7am. He gets up and has a breakfast and then has another breakfast when I get up. He doesn't gain a pound. We just require different amounts of sleep and always have.
I still think this is all hormonal that you are going through. Make sure you put it in your journal so you can track it next month.
