Question about Stephania Root Powder (Stephania Tetrandra) for Lyme Disease

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knows what dosage Buhner recommends for the powder?

It looks like he mentions the tincture on his website, but not the powder?

Also, my second question is if it makes sense to take this along with Japanese Knotweed?

I know sometimes it's used as a replacement for Japanese Knotweed but I thought maybe it helps to take both.

I have neurolyme also.

This is an older thread on it - Krimpet posted about taking both - but no dosage mentioned.

Per his book Healing Lyme, 2nd Ed, on page 380

Bell's palsy: 1 tsp 3x daily of the tincture
Neuroborreliosis: 1/2 tsp 3x daily of the tincture
Lyme arthritis: 1/2 tsp 3x daily of the tincture
Ocularborreliosis: 1/2 tsp 3x daily of the tincture, eye wash with the decoction daily.

Then there is a list of side effects and a list of contraindications and then he has a section on herb/drug interactions.

I love his book. It is so informative.

bump for LymeSick - anyone know powdered herb dosages of Stephania Root?


...or can do an approximate conversion from his recommended tincture dose?
