This is a great example of a "supposed LLMD" that is taking advantage of people. Remember when I talked about
this in a separate post everyone?
/www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=30&m=3943612Charlie55 - "I just know that there's a lot of people getting taken advantage of with alternative treatments, just be aware of that."
How free advertising of a product on this forum is allowed is beyond me, meanwhile a link I posted supporting the removal of a Gary Wormser on a TBD working group isn't. Even if it's free, patients still have to pay for shipping, this isn't a free product.
I called out LymeNet.org before on members posting links to websites selling Rife Machines. I'm not sure what the policy is on this forum, but on LymeNet, you're not allowed to post links to websites selling products. Dr. Bill Rawls website has a store selling super high priced herbal supplements.
Believe me, it takes a webmaster to know a webmaster, which I am one, and I know how these people sucker you into buying their products with free book or e-book. They make big claims through the free literature, then they sucker you into buying their products.
This guy buys advertising on Facebook, as well as making big claims about
his herbal supplements and naturopathic treatment, in return belittles antibiotic treatment that ILADs(The Real LLMDs) support as the main treatment for helping lyme patients reach remission.
Read this article here written by him
/rawlsmd.com/health-articles/when-to-consider-antibiotic-therapy"There is little consensus, however, on antibiotic use for chronic Lyme disease. At present, there are no studies showing benefit from long term use of antibiotic therapy for treatment of Lyme disease and the practice is not condoned by the conventional medical community."
This couldn't be further than the truth, considering the recent scientific studies done by John Hopkins on certain antibiotics working on persister cells of borrelia bacteria. The truth is, there's not many studies supporting the herbal treatment he uses, yet he's claimed he's healed many of his lyme patients with.
Just a warning, don't let a guy like this take advantage of you lyme patients... Some of these naturopaths will have you blow thousands of dollars on herbal protocols that are controversial with very little science beyond them, meanwhile you could of spent that money elsewhere in treatment that's proven to work.
I've heard horror stories of patients blowing all their money on alternative treatment, with very little money left for antibiotic treatment. That's the reality of the situation, considering the prices of Dr. Rawls supplements.
There's a reason why antibiotics are still the main regimen of Dr. Horrowitz. He treats with herbals, yes, but they are along side antibiotic treatment.
Herbals have their uses for pain and detoxing, but there's very little treatment that actually works against biofilms and persister cell spirochetes which we're learning.
If Dr. Bill Rawls treatment works as he says it does, then it will sell itself like Dr. Horrowitz's protocols, there's no need for his employees to hawk products on forums and Facebook.
This is coming from a guy that uses herbals every day and a true believer in naturopathic medicine like Rick Simpson Oil, aka cannabis, aka marijuana. Even Rick Simpson tears apart the companies that use his Phoenix Tears name and sells RSO for way too much money. A true naturopath is one who just helps patients with information, like Rick Simpson and Stephen Buhner has, and does not hawk products. If his treatment works, it will sell itself, remember that...
And it becomes real crazy how some supplement brands claim their supplements are more effective than other brands, Cowden and Nutramedix comes to mind. Saying "TOA Free" Cat's Claw works better than normal Cats Claw, then charging 4x the price and luring people into suggesting their product is the only one that effectively works. Traditional cats claw can be found for like $5-$10, meanwhile Nutramedix sells the same thing for $40+...
You don't need a Doctor to direct you how to take these supplements, if they work, great, you don't need a Doctor directing you how to take them when everything can be found online. Buhner as well as other sites and forums can direct you what supplements work on Babesia and what works on Borrelia.
Just be careful everyone, just looking to help...
