Has anyone read this book yet?

I purchased the hard copy and Audible audio book when it came out, and am listening to it bit by bit when I'm in the car on longer trips. So far it's really good, but I am only on the 2nd or 3rd chapter.

Any thoughts on it?

Its good to read a book that ends well. She does many therapies-good to open everyone eyes to them

I liked that she spoke about all the things she tried. She did so many things overlapping that it would be hard to say what worked.

I think what worked well was doing it all or most of it. I don't hear many people getting better by doing one therapy.
Interesting has she started to improve after removing her fake breast

I don't have implants so I can't comment on my experience.


But magoo could fill you in on that.

I think the gist of it is they are foreign materials and are drilled into the jaw bone.
= can cause a reaction.


Dick Van Dyke had a really bad reaction from them. I can't remember how long it took before they figured it out. I'll see if I can find something on it.

Thank you so much for the article, Girlie. I was referring to breast implants, haha, but actually, this article is super informative and scares me off of any dental implants. The concept is probably the same with breast implants, being a foreign object and all.

Crystal Hefner is another celeb that says implants made lyme worse. I think it can drag down immune system. Especially if they leak or get moldy.

I think one of the keys to finding your cure is to correct whatever lowered your immune system-implants being one of the things.
said another way-its not the tick. many get exposed-many get cured with one round of doxy.

Chronic Lyme won't be cured with one round of doxy.

I know lots of people who got bit, did short term abx and are well -
One person had a lot of ailments - not healthy at all - I'm surprised she has had no issues.
It's been two years now since her course of abx.

Magoo, you are so right. A friend of mine got bit, got the bull's eye and one round of doxy she had no symptoms. She actually treated before she ever got symptoms. She says she owes it all to me because she saw my bull's eye when we both did not know what it was.

I don't have breast implants. However, I got a dental implant this last year when I was in remission. So far *knocks on wood* it is fine. But I was so nervous that the implant would bring back the lyme. It has been 2 months now and still fine.

Girlie- you are missing the point-the vast majority do not get chronic lyme.

Because they got treatment soon - no? I didn't get treatment for 14 months.

Maybe I am missing what you're saying... lol.

I think you are missing it. Most who get bit never ever get lyme. They body handle it.

I don't know that. I haven't talked to people who were bit , didn't get treated and didn't get lyme.

I would think that not all ticks have lyme though

I got bit, got a bull's eye and did not get sick UNTIL I lowered my immune system by drinking too much alcohol 2 months after my bite.

I wonder if I had of not gone over drinking with girlfriends, would I have escaped lyme disease.

Something kept me well for 2 months.

I am just grateful she has spread so much awareness. Many Lyme celebs don't say anything or much at all. She has used so much of her fame and power to help
I might be scared to be as outspoken as her. I will forever be grateful to her for her service to me and all of us. We are in this together
